American Futures Trading was created with the philosophy of establishing long term relationships with our clients. We want to have our clients around for decades - not months. We wanted to have a company that people not only traded at and stayed with for a long time, but also felt comfortable in recommending us to their friends and relatives (we felt this to be the true test of how much value we were bringing to our clients and this industry).
We have attempted to achieve this in several different ways. First you will always deal with an experienced broker. We do not want our clients to ever have to deal with clerks or "brokers" who are not only new to the industry but sometimes seem to just have heard the term commodities. We understand that everyone has to start someplace; we just did not want to be their first stop.
Many brokerages offer free charts and quotes, but we are able to offer free real-time prices and charts. You will also have access to the markets 24 hours a day.
While we believe that commissions, free tools and experienced brokers are very important, we also believe in this age of automation that the human touch and customer service is extremely important as well. As we provide what we feel is the easiest to use and most sophisticated and comprehensive online trading, we want our clients to know that we are always available to answer questions, provide support and help solve problems. We know that it can be very lonely and frustrating to deal with glitches and problems that could arise from the markets or technology. We are here to help and provide as much support as you need and request.
