Trade Crude Oil Directly
You can trade Crude Oil, Gasoline, Natural Gas, and Heating Oil directly and do not have to purchase a company stock whose profitability depends on not only in the positive movement of the energy markets, but in outside factors as the quality of the management, exploration and refining capabilities, etc.
But you can trade energy futures directly with multiple leverage on an exchange where billions of dollars worth of these energy contracts trade on a daily basis.
Leverage
For around $7,000 margin you can control 1000 barrels of Crude Oil (over $105,000 as of this writing), with each $1 move in crude price representing a $1,000 move on your $7,000 margin funds.
Liquidity
On the futures exchange billions of dollars of crude, natural gas, gas and heating oil is traded EVERY SINGLE DAY. You will have the ease of getting in and out instantaneously around the clock. You can be a position trader getting in on pull backs looking for long term movement or you can be a day trader getting in and out as you please.
You will also have the ability to trade not only on the upside, but also on the downside if you think that prices will go down.

The risk of loss in trading futures and options can be substantial. Futures and options trading may not be suitable for everyone. Therefore, you should carefully consider the risks in light of your financial condition in deciding whether to trade. You may sustain a total loss of the initial margin funds and additional funds that you deposit with your brokers to establish or maintain a position in the commodity futures market.
