American Futures Trading

Below you will find the instructions how to set up your new username and password to log into your account with RJO'Brien. RJO allows each client to pick their own username and password. Also below you will see instructions on how to access your statement, reports, and quotes.

Very important! Your new account with RJO will be 526 plus the last five digits of your current account number with Penson/Alaron. For example, if your account number currently is 50012345 or 52512345 then your new account number with RJO will be 52612345.

International Clients where it asks for social security number type "G" and your account number. For example, G52612345.

IRA Clients please call us at (866) 822-6872 so we can assign you a password.

Accessing Your Account through the RJO'Brien Website

1.	In your web browser, type www.rjobrien.com into the address bar and press enter to access the R.J. O'Brien home page.
2.	From this page, please click the RJO Clients Sign-Up for Web Access button.

3.	On this page, please type in your account number (no spaces or dashes). If your account number contains any letters, please make them upper-case.
4.	Next, enter your social security number (no spaces or dashes).
5.	Next enter your email address.
6.	Finally, choose a username and password for accessing the website going forward. Clicking Submit when finished. Once you have set up your username and password simply go to www.americanfuturestrading.com and login through "Client Login".

Once You Are Logged In

Once you have created a login, you will automatically be logged into the My Account screen. From here you have the following options:

1.	Edit Profile: allows you to update your email address and password for the website.
2.	View Research: allows you to pull up all RJ O’Brien research available to clients.
2.	View Account Information: allows you to pull up the online query (current/ real time account information) and Statements (containing Daily, Monthly, Equity, and Tax Statements)

View Research

From this page you can access the latest research available, or subscribe to have your favorite research documents emailed to you directly when they are available.

1.	To subscribe to research, click on the subscriptions link and select the documents you would like emailed to you when a new one is available. You can select from emailing a link to the research, or the research document itself (if available).

Online Query

From this page, you can get information on the current status of your account, including positions, balances, cash transactions, and margin information.

If you have multiple accounts, you can switch between the accounts at the top of the page using the drop down menu. The left hand side contains the different online query screens available to you.

Statements

From this page, you can view and download past statements, including Daily, Monthly, Equity, and Tax (1099) statements.

1.	If you have multiple accounts, make sure the correct account is listed in the account drop down box.
2.	Using the drop down menu, select the type of report you want to view or download.
3.	Click the Search button.
4.	Statements can be downloaded in .pdf or .txt format. Click on the corresponding link to view the report.
