Full Service
This is broker-assisted trading, and it's highly recommended for new to intermediate traders. It's also often used by advanced traders who want interaction with a senior broker and feel that two heads are better than one.
The broker will help you keep an eye on your account, will alert you on ever-changing market conditions, help you manage your money, and give you a heads up on the markets.
Professional Discount Desk
This is self-directed trading and its usually for the more experienced trader who wants to place orders with a live person but does not feel that he/she needs interaction or help from a broker.
We provide fast executions and often flash fills (if market conditions allow).
We also provide what we feel is a discount plus because when you place your orders it will be with an experienced broker and not a desk clerk. If you've traded at a discount desk before you might have been frustrated by the ever changing clerks and/or clerks with very limited knowledge who seem to be able to barely take orders. At AFT, you will be placing your orders with friendly and experienced brokers at no extra charge.
Our rates are very competitive in the industry and rates are always negotiable so don't be afraid to ask.
Online Plus
This encompasses everything in the discount category except you will be placing your orders directly online yourself.
Your account and orders will be marked to market throughout the trading day (account balance, margin excess, and profit and loss).
But if you ever get stuck, have any questions, or find yourself in market conditions such as a fast market, limit move, or low volume, and would like to discuss that with a senior broker, you will be able to at no extra charge.
